SPECIALLY ADAPTED HOUSING (SAH) GRANT
The Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) program offers grants to Service members and Veterans with certain severe service-connected disabilities. The grants assist with building, remodeling or purchasing an adapted home.
Tejas Roofing & Contracting is a VA Approved Contractor and has experience with assisting in providing independent living for our severely-disabled Veterans that might not be possible otherwise.
We can help you renovate your home to remove issues such as making your home wheelchair-accessible.
The SHA grant (which does not have to be paid back) can be used to increase your mobility throughout your residence. In 2024 the maximum amount of grant is $117,014 for your renovation.
