Also, read through to the end to see how, through the power and magic of the Acumatica\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acumatica.com\/acumatica-cloud-xrp-platform\/?pid=0000009063\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u><strong><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">xRP<\/span><\/strong><\/u> Platform<\/a>, you can embed this very same toolbar widget on your own custom forms in two easy steps with only ONE line of code.<\/p><p><strong>Tips to use\u00a0Load Records from File\u00a0on existing Acumatica screens<\/strong><\/p><p>The\u00a0Load Records from File\u00a0option is generally used to upload details on a transaction screen. It is available anywhere you see the upload icon on the toolbar.\u00a0\u200b<\/p><\/div><div><div class=\"wsite-image wsite-image-border-none \"><p><a> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parallelsolutions4u.com\/uploads\/1\/5\/7\/3\/15732292\/gl-journal-transactions_orig.png\" alt=\"Picture\" \/> <\/a><\/p><div>\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"paragraph\">Here&#8217;s a summary of some of the key similarities and differences between\u00a0<em>Import Scenarios<\/em>\u00a0and<em>\u00a0<\/em><em>Load Records from File.<\/em><\/div><div><div class=\"wsite-image wsite-image-border-none \"><p><a> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parallelsolutions4u.com\/uploads\/1\/5\/7\/3\/15732292\/published\/import-scenarios.png?1629293529\" alt=\"Picture\" \/> <\/a><\/p><div>\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"paragraph\">End users generally have no difficulties using the\u00a0<em>Load Records from File<\/em>\u00a0functionality without training.\u00a0Users simply click the icon and browse to choose an xlsx or csv file. After choosing a file, a dialog box allows the user to specify an import mode.<\/div><div><div class=\"wsite-image wsite-image-border-none \"><p><a> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parallelsolutions4u.com\/uploads\/1\/5\/7\/3\/15732292\/common-settings_orig.png\" alt=\"Picture\" \/> <\/a><\/p><div>\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"paragraph\"><ul><li><em>Update Existing<\/em>: Updates the rows that are already present in the table and adds new rows that are not present in the table.<\/li><li><em>Bypass Existing<\/em>: Imports only new rows that were not present in the table. The existing rows will not be updated.<\/li><li><em>Insert All Records<\/em>: Adds all rows from the file to the table.\u00a0If you select this option, you may get duplicated rows because the system won&#8217;t check for duplicates.<\/li><\/ul><p>Next Acumatica attempts to match the column headers from the source file with the properties from the Acumatica data grid.\u00a0If the names match exactly, they will be auto matched.\u00a0Otherwise, the user can create the appropriate mapping using the dropdowns.<\/p><\/div><div><div class=\"wsite-image wsite-image-border-none \"><p><a> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parallelsolutions4u.com\/uploads\/1\/5\/7\/3\/15732292\/gl-journal-transactions-columns_orig.png\" alt=\"Picture\" \/> <\/a><\/p><div>\u00a0<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"paragraph\">\u200bHINT: A convenient way to create an Excel template with the matching column headings is to start with an Excel export from the same data grid.<br \/>\u200b<br \/>Click OK, and the data is uploaded to the screen. To incorporate the\u00a0Load Records from File\u00a0widget on a custom screen there are two only two steps required in the Acumatica customization project:<\/p><ol><li>Add the [PXImport] attribute on the data view.
