About Us
Oliveira Plastering was started in 1992 by my father-in-law Manuel Oliveira. Manuel Oliveira immigrated to California in the early 1960s and started working as a teenager on a dairy in the Central Valley. He eventually made his way, in the early 1970’s to Monterey, whose rocky shores reminded him of his childhood home on the island of Pico in the Azores. Once in Monterey he started a career in plastering working for E.F. Brady Company. He started at the bottom and quickly moved up to the ranks of Journeyman plasterer.
