─ About Nancy White
Nancy Lynn White was born in Washington, DC, into the nomadic life of a military family. She has one beautiful daughter and two of the most loved grandchildren on the planet. She graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, in 1993 with a BA in English/Professional Writing. She is currently writing her first novel, a historical western romance. Working title, _Guilty of Stealing His Heart. She has the following creative non-fiction short stories published in magazines: “The Boss from Hell,” _Work Literary Magazine, November 2014; “You’re Safer in a Plane Than a Car,” _Shatter the Looking Glass Literary Magazine, January 2015; “Sippin’ Bourbon Dressing,” _Good Ole Days Magazine, December 2016. And the following published in anthologies: “Children Should Be Seen, Not Heard,” _Only Trollops Shave Above the Knee, April 2015; “When Life Hands You Lemons,” _The Book of Hope, March 2017.

About the Author
This autobiographical work was written years after Lucien, my-father returned back from WW2. My father experienced PTSD. He never complained but one day I discovered him at his computer so I asked him what he was writing about? To my surprise, he was writing about his journey before and after the war. I encouraged him to continue writing his memoirs. He finally finished and gave me permission to edit the work. I was very close to him and encouraged him to share his story. At Christmas in 1997 he shared the journey with our family. The manuscript laid dormant until recently. I want to honor his memory and decided to publish his work.

Hello, I’m Nancy White. I’m a newly published author. If you read fiction, you’re on the right website. I have Guilty of Stealing His Love, an Old West romance/mystery coming out in late November. It’s an adventure with romance, a historical setting, mystery, and inspiration. It’s rated warm on the sensuality scale. And I’m currently working on Wedding Bells and Murder (working title), a cozy mystery with heart. I wanted to write romance, but after one book, I decided to look for a new genre to write. Reading a cozy mystery on a rainy day with a hot cup of tea suits me down to my toes. I’m having a ball writing it and hope you can’t wait to get your hands on a copy. I love stories with heart. That’s why a cozy mystery works for me. No blood or gore, no sex on the page (off-page), and a witty puzzle to solve. I’m in heaven. I would love to hear from my readers how you enjoyed my book. Where I Love To Write
All the things that make a certain geographic spot special are certainly present at my family’s island home in Cobb Island, Maryland. When the hustle and bustle of city life get to me, I picture myself in a wooden-slated bench swing hanging from a massive oak branch. The swing is positioned strategically in the yard to ensure the most spectacular view of the Potomac River. Behind me is the cottage that my grandparents bought back in the nineteen fifties for only five thousand dollars after saving up for thirty years. They paid cash for what has become a haven for family members who want to get in touch with what is important in life. Occasionally, some tourist or investment banker stops by and offers to buy the quaint little place from my grandmother. She smiles and says that some things are never meant to be sold.
