Our Single Stream Recycling program in the Town of Greenwich allows you to place all recyclables in one bin conveniently. Remember to rinse and empty all items before placing them in the bin to ensure proper processing. Let’s work together to reduce waste and preserve the environment.
Acceptable items:
Paper: Beverage & Food Cartons, Cardboard, Magazine & Newspapers, Office Paper, Envelopes & Junk Mail, Pizza Boxes
Glass: Bottles & Jars, Drinking Glasses
Metal: Aerosol Cans, Aluminum Foil, Cans, Caps & Lids, Pots & Pans
Plastic: Bottles & Jugs (with or without caps), Caps & Lids, Containers & Tubs, Plates, Bowls & Utensils, Single-Use Cups
Three primary materials are NOT accepted:
Plastic Bags & Film, Shredded Paper, and Styrofoam.
