Hello, my name is Amy May, and I am the Owner & Head Elf here at Amy’s Whimsical Gifts!  I create and assemble all wreaths and bows myself here at my workshop!

So, who am I?   Well, I am a wife and mom to two amazing kids and two miniature dachshunds plus a bonus mom to 4 great stepchildren.    I have a bachelor’s degree in communication from The Ohio State University and a degree in Medial Assisting.  I work for a large hospital system here in Columbus, OH, but crafting has always been my true passion.  As a child, my very talented Grandma Betty passed on her talents for making many kinds of crafts.  Over the years I have participated in many craft shows and had a successful business making girls hairbows.  When I learned to make wreaths, I knew I had found my true passion!  I love coming up with a theme for a wreath, seeing it come to life and then finding a home with a happy customer.  Everything I make is unique because I do not duplicate any wreath I make.  This means that every wreath sold is truly original and something that sets me apart from my fellow wreath makers.
